The actress currently lives with her family in New York City. Chando studied at Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando played the character of Maddie Coleman on the television soap opera As the World Turns, which she performed from 2005 until 2007 as well as for a few months beginning in late 2009. Alexandra began her acting career in 2002 on the TV show House Blend playing the character as Jenna Harper. She was Maddie Coleman in the CBS TV soap As the World Turns for three years.
