Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multi-cultural family. She was born in South London. She has a mother who is English while her father is Nigerian. Her family was raised in a south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age 14. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was obtained. During her time at the academy, she appeared in a number of performances on stage, such as the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career began in the series Storm Damage. She has since made appearances in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. After the film's success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured on six of the episodes Trexx and Flipside. In 2008, she was offered the part in the role of Bambi on the ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the series two and three. Madekwe also played the title character in How to lose friends & alienate people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2008. Performance credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 when she appeared on her dramatic The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before it was cancelled on The CW. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama series was cast to play Ashley Davenport. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe, who had been a series regular in the past two seasons, was to leave the series following a guest appearance in the first episode of the new season. Between 2014 and 2016, she starred in Salem as Tituba. Madekwe and her partner of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. Apart from Secret Diary of a Call Girl they have also worked in tandem on Salem and he had part in the show with her. the show on TV.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Her parents Roy and Patty along with her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. The four brothers of Ashley, who were all extremely active, took part in hockey during the winters and baseball in the summers, meaning that she grew up playing in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley couldn't walk, however she was able to dance. In the end, as she grew older, she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing after she started the Baby Ballet. Ashley continued to dance competitively until her high-school graduation in top divisions such as ballet, tap, Jazz, Pointe, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop and many more. Every major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the title "top soloist".
