Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22, 1985 in New York City New York) is a star who has been praised for her abilities to perform across various genres from period dramas to thrillers to action-packed films. Johansson was born in New York City, and was raised there by her architect father and producer mother. Her twin brother Hunter were one of the youngest four siblings. At a very young age she discovered an aptitude in acting. She started auditioning for commercials at age seven.
